Utah Electrical License Renewal
To keep your Utah electrical license active, follow these renewal requirements:
Renewal Period:
- All licenses expire on November 30 of even-numbered years.
Continuing Education Requirements:
Total CE Hours: 16 hours every two years
12 hours must be “core” education focused on the NEC.
4 hours may be “core” or “professional” education.
Renewal Process:
- Complete CE Hours: Finish 16 hours within the current license cycle.
