Alaska Electrical License Renewal
- For Electrical Journeyman Certificate of Fitness Holders:
Continuing Education: Complete at least 16 hours of continuing education within the 24-month period preceding your renewal request. A minimum of 8 hours must cover significant changes or updates to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Renewal Fee: Pay a $200 renewal fee for the 2-year certificate.
Renewal Process: Submit a completed renewal application along with proof of continuing education and the renewal fee. If your certificate has expired for more than 90 days but less than two years, you must pay a $50 application fee plus the prorated amount of time remaining until expiration. If expired for more than two years, re-application and re-testing are required.

Renewal Fee: Pay a $170 renewal fee.
